Obama's Push to Exploit Labor - HIS PLOYS FOR MORE ILLEGALS

MEXICANOCCUPATION.blogspot.com

NO PRESIDENT IN AMERICAN HISTORY HAS ASSAULTED THE AMERICAN WORKER ON BEHALF OF HIS CORPORATE PAYMASTERS, MORE THAN BARACK OBAMA!
Even with staggering unemployment, Obama’s first priority is keeping wages depressed by assaulting our border security, sabotaging e-verify, and sending messages to the employers of illegals that NO LAW AGAINST HIRING ILLEGALS WILL BE ENFORCED. Have there been???

*
FORMER NYC MAYOR, ED KOCH:

“On one side of this contentious issue are those who believe as I do that the Obama administration has exactly the same goal as its predecessor, the Bush administration, which is to provide amnesty and a "path to citizenship" for our illegal alien population, now estimated at between 11 million and 20 million.” (MOST NON-GOV LA RAZA PROPAGANDA PUT THE REAL NUMBER OF ILLEGALS IN THIS NATION AT ABOUT 40 MILLION! IF THAT SOUNDS TOO HIGH, SIMPLY COME TO MEXIFORNIA AND SEE FOR YOURSELF ABOUT 20 MILLION!)

*
THERE ARE ONLY EIGHT (8) STATE WITH A POPULATION GREATER THAN LOS ANGELES COUNTY, WHERE HALF THOSE WITH A JOB ARE ILLEGALS USING STOLEN SOCIAL SECURITY NUMBERS. THIS SAME COUNTY PAYS OUT $600 MILLION A YEAR IN WELFARE TO ILLEGALS, AND HAS THE HIGHEST RATE OF MEX GANG RELATED MURDER IN THE COUNTRY. MORE MURDER BY ILLEGALS THAN ANY E.U. COUNTRY!
NO ONE HAS HEARD OF AN EMPLOYER OF ILLEGALS BEING PROSECUTED!
LA RAZA FEINSTEIN HAS LONG HIRED ILLEGALS AT HER S.F. HOTEL, AND LA RAZA PELOSI HAS LONG HIRED ILLEGALS AT HER ST. HELENA, NAPA WINERY. PELOSI HAS LONG VOWED THE WALL WILL NEVER BE COMPLETED. OBAMA HAS STOPPED THE CONSTRUCTION.
*
What I and many others urge is a crackdown on American employers who knowingly hire illegals. They usually do so in order to have a docile workforce that is afraid of being deported and is therefore fearful of complaining about workplace conditions and illegal, below-minimum-wage salaries. If such employers were prosecuted and upon conviction received prison sentences, even as low as six months to one year, I believe the message would hugely deter future such breaches in the law. White collar criminals -- predator employers -- don't fear civil penalties and fines -- the cost of doing business -- as much as they fear serving time behind bars. Were the jobs to disappear, I believe that illegal aliens, many here to work and send much of their paychecks back to their families in Mexico and elsewhere, would go home.

An Overriding November Election Issue: Amnesty for Illegal Aliens
Immigration is the issue that will dominate the November elections.
On one side of this contentious issue are those who believe as I do that the Obama administration has exactly the same goal as its predecessor, the Bush administration, which is to provide amnesty and a "path to citizenship" for our illegal alien population, now estimated at between 11 million and 20 million. Supporters of amnesty often say the alternative is to put millions of aliens into boxcars and send them back to Mexico and other Latin American countries, where most of them are from, creating the Nazi-like and totally unacceptable image of Jews on their way to the crematoria. It is a false argument. No one I know who opposes amnesty supports such an approach.
We can also attract illegal aliens to join a going home program by offering to pay their airfare and even offering them a reward of $1,000 or more, payable one year later on proof they had remained in their own country for at least a year after their return. However, if amnesty is provided, we will simply be continuing a failed policy. In 1986 we said there would be no more amnesties after the Simpson-Mazzoli act legalized the status of illegal aliens who were in the country at that time.
We should be compassionate in dealing with individual cases and special categories. The New York Times of August 1st reports,
The Obama administration, responding to requests from Democratic and Republican lawmakers, has taken steps to make it easier for illegal immigrants who are spouses and family members of Americans serving in the military to gain legal status.

(“CHAIN MIGRATION” WHICH WOULD PERMIT 38 MILLION ILLEGALS TO BRING ON UP THE REST OF THEIR FAMILY – WOULD DOUBLE THE ILLEGAL POPULATION!)
I would go further and not limit the program to the military, but apply it to all immediate family members -- brothers, sisters and parents -- of American citizens living in this country as illegal aliens.
There are those who believe the policy of the Obama administration for what they euphemistically call a "comprehensive reform of the immigration laws," which means amnesty for basically all, but not criminals, is predicated on the belief that the amnesty recipients -- overwhelmingly Hispanics -- will vote Democratic in appreciation. That is not a legitimate reason to in effect create a policy of open borders for this country. If open borders became the policy of the United States because the federal government decided it could not actually control our borders, they being so vast -- and President Obama did convey that thought -- we would have a dramatic illustration of what former Senator Patrick Moynihan meant when he coined the phrase "defining deviancy down": if you can't control illegality, legalize it.
The Obama administration should reach out to those who disagree with his amnesty approach and seek to find a compassionate, rational approach to an admittedly vexing problem. The current approach of the Obama administration, which is to bar the efforts of the state of Arizona to control its borders from infiltration by illegals, is deplored by most Americans. A poll taken by CNN on July 27th shows that 55 percent nationally favor the Arizona law recently gutted by a federal district court judge, with 40 percent opposing the law. In Arizona itself, a Rasmussen poll of April 21st shows that 70 percent favor the Arizona law and 23 percent oppose it.
The decision of the federal judge gutting the law is now being appealed. Unless overturned, it applies only to those states in the jurisdiction of the 9th Federal Circuit. It does not mandate the actions of most of the states, those in other circuit court jurisdictions seeking to emulate the Arizona law. Sooner or later, the U.S. Supreme Court will rule on the issue of whether states like Arizona, which are spending billions on health care for illegals, as well as for education of their children - Arizona has an estimated 500,000 illegal immigrants - can take police measures to control its border with Mexico, or must rely on inadequate federal efforts. One such inadequate effort is the President sending 1,200 National Guardsman to the southern borders of our southwestern states, who have no authority to arrest illegals crossing, but can only call on the U.S. Border Patrol to do so when sighting an illegal. That is not exactly a real effort by the Obama administration.

OBAMA TELLS ILLEGALS “PUNISH OUR ENEMIES”
Friends of ALIPAC,

Each day new reports come in from across the nation that our movement is surging and more incumbents, mostly Democrats, are about to fall on Election Day. Obama's approval ratings are falling to new lows as he makes highly inappropriate statements to Spanish language audiences asking illegal alien supporters to help him "punish our enemies."

California must stem the flow of illegal immigrants
The state should go after employers who hire them, curb taxpayer-funded benefits, deploy the National Guard to help the feds at the border and penalize 'sanctuary' cities.

Illegal immigration is another matter entirely. With the state budget in tatters, millions of residents out of work and a state prison system strained by massive overcrowding, California simply cannot continue to ignore the strain that illegal immigration puts on our budget and economy. Illegal aliens cost taxpayers in our state billions of dollars each year. As economist Philip J. Romero concluded in a 2007 study, "illegal immigrants impose a 'tax' on legal California residents in the tens of billions of dollars."

The danger, as Washington Post economics columnist Robert Samuelson argues, is that of “importing poverty” in the form of a new underclass—a permanent group of working poor.

“THE AMNESTY ALONE WILL BE THE LARGEST EXPANSION OF THE WELFARE SYSTEM IN THE LAST 25 YEARS”…. Heritage Foundation
"The amnesty alone will be the largest expansion of the welfare system in the last 25 years," says Robert Rector, a senior analyst at the Heritage Foundation, and a witness at a House Judiciary Committee field hearing in San Diego Aug. 2. "Welfare costs will begin to hit their peak around 2021, because there are delays in citizenship. The very narrow time horizon [the CBO is] using is misleading," he adds. "If even a small fraction of those who come into the country stay and get on Medicaid, you're looking at costs of $20 billion or $30 billion per year."

U.S. Taxpayers Spend $113 Billion Annually on Illegal Aliens
America has never been able to afford the costs of illegal immigration. With rising unemployment and skyrocketing deficits, federal and state lawmakers are now facing the results of failed policies. A new, groundbreaking report from FAIR, The Fiscal Burden of Illegal Immigration on U.S. Taxpayers, takes a comprehensive look at the estimated fiscal costs resulting from federal, state and local expenditures on illegal aliens and their U.S.-born children.
Expanding upon the series of state studies done in the past, FAIR has estimated the annual cost of illegal immigration to be $113 billion, with much of the cost — $84.2 billon — coming at the state and local level.

Aliens In America
Taxpayers Taken To The Cleaners
By Frosty Wooldridge
4-10-8

Illegal alien migration into the United States costs American taxpayers $346 billion annually reported by the National Research Council. While employers of illegal aliens rake-in billions of dollars, the US citizens subsidize what may be called organized "Slavery in 21st Century America."

While Congress facilitates outsourcing, insourcing and offshoring of American jobs by the thousands weekly, that same Congress imports 182,000 legal immigrant monthly who need jobs. Another estimated 100,000 illegal aliens arrive each month without jobs. All those immigrants seize jobs from American citizens at slave wages.

What happens to the American taxpayer?

"Immigrants are poorer, pay less tax, and are more likely to receive public benefits than American citizens," said Edwin Rubenstein, reporting on the National Research Council's new book: "The New Americans: Economic, Demographics and Fiscal Effects of Immigration." The Social Contract Winter 2007-08. www.thesoicalcontract.com

“We could cut unemployment in half simply by reclaiming the jobs taken by illegal workers,” said Representative Lamar Smith of Texas, co-chairman of the Reclaim American Jobs Caucus. “President Obama is on the wrong side of the American people on immigration. The president should support policies that help citizens and legal immigrants find the jobs they need and deserve rather than fail to enforce immigration laws.”
*
“Obama’s rejection of any serious jobs program is part of a conscious class war policy. Two years after the financial crisis and the multi-trillion dollar bailout of the banks, the administration is spearheading a campaign by corporations to sharply increase the exploitation of the working class, using the “new normal” of mass unemployment to force workers to accept lower wages, longer hours, and more brutal working conditions.” WSWS.ORG
*
“The principal beneficiaries of our current immigration policy are affluent Americans who hire immigrants at substandard wages for low-end work. Harvard economist George Borjas estimates that American workers lose $190 billion annually in depressed wages caused by the constant flooding of the labor market at the low-wage end.” Christian Science Monitor

LATINOS ENRICH US? WHY'D THEY LEAVE THEIR OWN COUNTRY?

Latinos enrich us; family values go past Rio Grande
Latinos have come to the US to seek the same dreams that have inspired millions of others: they want a better life for their children. Family values do not stop at the Rio Grande River. Latinos enrich our country with faith in God, a strong ethic of work and community and responsibility. Immigration is not a problem to be solved; it is the sign of a successful nation. New Americans are not to be feared as strangers; they are to be welcomed as neighbors.

AMERICA vs MEXICO: CLASHING CULTURES
By Frosty Wooldridge
Anyone understand why Mexicans fail at a successful civilization? Ever wonder why millions of them invade the United States in search of a better life? Have you noticed that once they arrive, they create the same kind of ‘society’ in the United States ? Unconsciously, they create the same conditions they left behind. You can take the boy out of the ghetto, but you can't take the ghetto out of the boy. For example, in Denver in December, illegal alien Navi dragged his girlfriend to death behind his car. Illegal alien Cruz shot his girlfriend dead in the back because she wouldn’t reconcile with him. Illegal alien Ruizz ran over and killed Justin Goodman, but Ruizz drove away from the scene leaving Goodman to die. In Greeley , Colorado they suffered 270 hit and run accidents in one year. Over 80 percent of hit and run wrecks in Denver involve illegal aliens. Denver boasts the drug smuggling capital of the West as well as the people smuggling mecca of the country. Illegals cheat, distribute drugs, lie, forge documents, steal and kill as if it’s a normal way of life. For them, it is. Mexico ’s civilization stands diametrically opposed to America ’s culture. Both countries manifest different ways of thinking and operating. With George Bush’s push to create the “Security and Prosperity Partnership of North America” by dissolving our borders with Mexico , he places all Americans at risk. Would you become friends with neighbors who throw their trash on city streets and parks, create ghettoes wherever they enclave their numbers, promote corruption, deal in violence, encourage drug use, manifest poverty, endorse sexism and downgrade education? America ’s culture and Mexico ’s culture remain diametrically opposed to one another. America ’s fought Mexico and won. Today, Mexico invades America with sheer numbers of poor. However, cultures rarely change and neither do their people. As you can see from the ten points below, everything about Mexico degrades everything about America . For further information, you may visit www.immigrationshumancost.org and www.limitstogrowth.org where you will find a plethora of information by a brilliant journalist Brenda Walker. Her original report may be viewed on www.Vdare.com on January 17, 2007 under the title: “Ten Reasons Why America Should Not Marry Mexico .” I suggest you read more of her work. She exemplifies incisive, sobering and shocking information. These ten point stem directly from Brenda Walker’s work. Let’s examine why America must not entangle itself by merging with Mexico . The legal age of sexual consent in Mexico is 12 years old. Sex with children at this age and younger is socially acceptable in Mexico . For example: A Mexican Lopez-Mendez pleaded guilty to sexual assault on a 10 year old girl in West Virginia . His excuse: sex with young girls was common with his people. He said, “I was unaware that it was a crime.” Mexicans remain the most sexist males next to Islamic men. Both boast the most misogynous cultures in the world. Rape and other violence toward women are not treated as serious crimes. In Mexico , a custom known as “rapto” whereby men kidnap women for sex is regarded as harmless amusement. Mexican society regards women little more than objects. Crime and violence remain mainstays of Mexican culture. Drug cartels and the Mexican army coordinate their massive efforts to promote drug distribution not only in Mexico but into the USA . Mexico City suffers the second highest crime rate in Latin America . Kidnapping remains second only to Columbia for ransom money. Beheadings, killings and gun fire erupt at drug distribution points on the US/Mexican border. Spontaneous hanging continues in Mexico . A mob beat up and burned to death two policemen on live television in 2004 in Mexico City . As Brenda Walker wrote, “Mexicans do not have the same belief as Americans that the law is central to the equitable functioning of a complex nation. It’s the Third World .” Mexicans abhor education. In their country, illiteracy dominates. As they arrive in our country, only 9.6 percent of fourth generation Mexicans earn a high school diploma. Mexico does not promote educational values. This makes them the least educated of any Americans or immigrants. The rate of illiteracy in Mexico stands at 63 percent. Drunk driving remains acceptable in Mexico . As it stands, 44,000 Americans die on our nation’s highways annually. Half that number stems from drunken drivers. U.S. Congressman Steve King reports that 13 American suffer death from drunken driving Mexicans each day. Alcoholism runs rampant in Mexican culture. They suffer the most DUI arrests. Mexicans set the benchmark for animal cruelty. Mexicans love dog fighting, bullfighting, cock fighting and horse tripping. Those blood sports play in every arena and backyard in Mexico . They expand into America as more Mexicans arrive. They also engage in “steer-tailing” where the rider yanks the animal’s tail in an attempt to flip it to the ground. In horse tripping, they run the animals at full gallop around a ring, then, use ropes to trip them at full speed. It’s a death sentence as the horses break their legs, teeth, shoulders and necks—all to the delight of the cheering Mexican fans. As La Raza confirms, Mexicans maintain the most racist society in North America . “For the Hispanic race, everything; for anyone outside the race, nothing!” Guadalupe Loaeza, a journalist, said, “Mexican society is fundamentally racist and classist. The color of your skin is a key that either opens or shuts doors. The lighter your skin, the more doors open to you.” Corruption becomes a mechanism by which Mexico operates. Corruption remains systemic. The Washington Post wrote, “ Mexico is considered one of the most corrupt countries in the hemisphere.” They feature drug cartels, sex slave trade, people smuggling, car theft cartels, real estate scam cartels, murder for money and, you must bribe your mail man to get your mail. Last, but not least, Mexicans are Marxists. They promote a one party government. As with any kind of Marxism, brutal totalitarian rule keeps the rich in power and everyone else subservient. As we allow millions of Mexicans to colonize our country, we can’t help but be caught up in these ten deadly cultural traits of Mexicans. With over 12 million Mexicans here today, the predictions grow to as many as 20 even 40 million Mexicans in a few decades as they come here for a better life. The fact remains, as they come to America for a better life, they make our lives a living hell.

MEXICO'S UNARMED INVASION... The Mex Drug Cartels Are Not Armed?!?

Book review - Immigration's Unarmed Invasion: Deadly Consequences
Book Review by Donald A. Collins
August 17, 2004
Published on The Washington Dispatch.
Amid this Presidential campaign, perhaps the most critical in our nation’s history, issues are flying like falling leaves in an October wind, piling up against each other so as to make them almost indistinguishable, one from another. The issues that often make the most ink are likely to be the least important. As a veteran observer, it strikes me that never has our government been so out of the control of the electorate with our country seemingly spiraling into anarchy. Our democracy is in crisis and no one seems to be looking at root causes.
It must seem that way to the ACLU too, since it paid for a full page ad in the August 7, 2004 The Economist which offered the following headline: “How can we fight to uphold the Rule of Law if we break the rules ourselves?”
Daily some 2000 illegal immigrants are apprehended in a 260 mile stretch of the Arizona border near Tucson. Between 1970 and 2000 over 50 million immigrants, most with little education or assets have come here, most of them illegally. While polls show the immigration reform issue is important to over 80% of Americans, neither major party has promised satisfactory consideration.
Fortunately, a new book just published outlines the issues at stake in stark, no nonsense terms which can be readily understood. Its author, Frosty Wooldridge, a teacher, lecturer, and an author who frequently contributes his views on this issue to multi media audiences, has bicycled 100,000 miles around the globe to see the dire effects of overpopulation. This book comes from his vast and varied first hand contacts with the immigration reform issue and he leaves no aspect of this perplexing, frightening subject untreated.
IMMIGRATION'S UNARMED INVASION: DEADLY CONSEQUENCES explains each aspect from the view of how it affects us Americans and why we must speedily regain control by enforcing our laws or see the rapid decline of our nation into second rate status.
What is so unique and important about this book? Short answer: Its urgent perspective, a root paradigm, in recent years buried by other far less relevant concerns, the global impact of overpopulation, both here and everywhere. The average age of the world’s population is under 25 and in Middle Eastern nations and much of Asia, it is under 20. The failure to meet women’s needs in the 20th Century when half of all births were unintended moved world population from just over 1 billion at its beginning to 6 billion people at its conclusion, leaving poverty, terrorism, and environmental devastation in its wake. The prospect of adding several billions more this century is virtually assured unless new, urgent attention gets focused by all humanity on these unbalanced numbers, largely untutored, uneducated, and subject to recruitment by terrorists.
Wooldridge, with the most electrifying clarity yet brought to this burgeoning population calamity, the mother of mass immigration here and elsewhere, totally exposes this devastating problem in all its complexities, as he focuses on all its dire consequences for the USA, which all start with our ignoring a cherished American first principle: Our government is failing to live up to the basic Rule of Law set forth in Article IV, Section 4 of the U.S. Constitution: "The United States shall guarantee to every State in this Union a Republican Form of Government, and shall protect each of them against invasion; and on Application of the Legislature, or of the Executive (when the Legislature cannot be convened) against domestic violence."
This book details clearly why our present government at all levels is failing miserably to meet our Rule of Law in allowing unchecked levels of high immigration both legal and illegal.
From the Wooldridge Introduction, “This book exposes Americans to the accelerating consequences of mass legal and unrestricted illegal immigration into the United States. It examines individual communities and lives across this nation that have been undermined by the 1965 Immigration Reform Act.
Pre-publication reviews by many knowledgeable immigration reform observers highlight salient Wooldridge arguments. Here are only two of many examples: “Wooldridge and others who speak through the pages of this book set the record straight on why immigration impoverishes America. We sell our nation's future down the river--socially, culturally, fiscally, environmentally--for no better reason than to provide business with a flood of cheap, taxpayer-subsidized immigrant labor. This nation's poor and minorities are hurt the most in the process. I urge all Americans to heed this book's warning." Corine Flores, Immigration-reform advocate, Santa Fe, New Mexico
"When I was born 50 years ago, there were 140 million Americans. Today, we approach 300 million. In my daughter's lifetime, we could reach a "China-like" billion Americans! Read this book as if your children's futures depend on what you will learn. Their futures do depend on exactly that!" Kathleene Parker, Los Alamos, New Mexico, Writer, publisher and immigration-reformer
These two Westerners know that “the wide open spaces” of their region and others in the US similarly perceived are not arable and that endless growth, as pushed by the globalized major corporate interests who presently have bought control of our government, is an obvious myth.
“Oh, but aren’t we the richest and most powerful nation on Earth?”, say the gated community affluents. Aren’t we rich enough to do what we want, take in all who want to come, keep spending on our vast military establishment at the expense of our education system, environmental standards, and our other pressing domestic priorities?
The short answer is “No”. A perfect example of what can happen to the very richest oil producer, Saudis Arabia, whose population growth (2.5 times ours!) has cut its free gift income to each Saudi citizen from $28,000 per year in 1981 to $7000 a year now, despite record high oil prices in both years. Its 19 million population has an average age of under 18 and represents a ticking time bomb of discontent in the near future.
After one of my several trips around the world, I have talked to people who “wouldn’t want to go to..... (poor places)”. Don’t worry, folks, these “places” have and will continue to come here.
And what about our own current huge deficit government spending binge? Whoever wins in November will be operating with a deficit of historic proportions at a time of economic malaise.
In my 20 plus years of studying this dual disconnect by our government and too many American voters, no one has better articulated our failure of observe our vaunted Rule of Law in the case of immigration reform or our continuing failure to fully fund an expansion of international family planning, a low cost method of helping the entire world fare better. Let these two excerpts from this landmark call to arms prompt your purchase of this “must read” book:
“Many warnings abound from the brightest minds in the world:"Pressures resulting from unrestrained population growth put demands on the natural world that can overwhelm any efforts to achieve a sustainable future. If we are to halt the destruction of our environment, we must accept limits to that growth." --World Scientists' Warning to Humanity, signed by 1600 senior scientists from 70 countries, including 102 Nobel Prize laureates, November 18, 1992
“This book is not about race, creed or color. Americans of all races suffer this onslaught. It will become worse for all of us. As one man from India wrote me, "You Americans live an artificially high standard of living…it’s about time you come down to the rest of the world’s poverty." He wasn’t kidding. One look at California demonstrates his statement. From extensive world travels, this author appreciates that every human being on this planet paddles his or her boat the best he or she can. Every religious faith is doing the best it can. However, overpopulation does not care about such things. It weds misery and suffering for every person within its clutches. Overpopulation is relentless once humans are caught in its grip. It stems from ‘exponential growth.’ It’s the reason you see no one fleeing to Bangladesh, China or India. In these pages, the International Human Suffering Index will be discussed as well as its escalating numbers. This book addresses carrying capacity and sustainability. It addresses a viable United States versus a country that is headed, like a steaming, brakeless locomotive, toward the edge of the Grand Canyon.”Nobody ever said it better.
Most books can state the case, but few really offer cogent, realistic politically possible solutions. However, in his powerful ending section Wooldridge eloquently offers ways on “how to save America”, ideas which embrace the practical time honored principles shared by such greats as Thomas Jefferson, Ben Franklin, Eleanor Roosevelt and Martin Luther King. At bottom, however, the initiative must come from an informed, politically active electorate. As Franklin told us at a time when the republic was formed, it will remain so only if we actively participate. We must follow the lead of the late Barbara Jordan, who counseled us to “Speak up”, making our opposition to the nasty trend to lesser nation status unacceptable. Start by getting acquainted with the majority of Americans of all races, political persuasions, and economic status who support immigration reform by signing in to web sites on reform and getting active in your own area. As Wooldridge makes clear, your country’s future depends on your taking action now.

The massive corporate mouthpiece the U.S. Chamber of Commerce is holding a “North American Forum” to lay out its “shared vision” for the United States, Canada and Mexico – which is to say a borderless, pro-business super-state in which U.S. sovereignty will be dissolved. Undercover investigators have found incredibly lax security and enforcement at U.S. border crossings, according to a new report by the Government Accountability Office. This report comes on the heels of a separate report by U.C. San Diego that shows tougher border security efforts aren’t deterring illegal entries to the United States.

MANY ARE NOW AWARE THAT BARACK OBAMA IS SIMPLY BUSH IN DRAG, ERGO HE’S SURROUNDED HIMSELF WITH BUSH’S ARCHITECTS FOR BANKSTER PILLAGE, SUCH AS GEITHNER, AND WAR PROFITEER, AND OBAMA DONOR FEINSTEIN.

WHEN BUSH WAS PRESIDENT HE MADE A TACIT DEAL WITH PRESIDENT FOX OF MEXICO; WE WOULD CONTINUE TO HAVE OPEN BORDERS, GIVE OUR JOBS TO ILLEGALS, EXPAND THE ANCHOR BABY “FREE” BIRTHING CENTERS, WELFARE, ETC., AND MEXICO WOULD LET BUSH’S CRONIES IN BIG BUSH SAUDI OIL CARLYLE GROUP OPERATE MEX OIL.
OF COURSE BUSH KEPT HIS PART OF THE DEAL, AND MILLIONS OF ILLEGALS POURED OVER OR UNDER OUR BORDERS AND INTO OUR JOBS, AND WELFARE.

ON OBAMA:

“The central aim of the administration is not providing skills or decent-paying jobs, but closing the gap between the wages of US workers and their brutally exploited counter-parts in Asia, Latin America and Eastern Europe. In this they have the full support of the UAW.”

George W. Bush on Immigration
President of the United States, Former Republican Governor (TX)

Take pressure off border with guest worker program
Extending hope and opportunity in our country requires an immigration system worthy of America--with laws that are fair and borders that are secure. When laws and borders are routinely violated, this harms the interests of our country. To secure our border, we are doubling the size of the Border Patrol--and funding new infrastructure and technology.
Yet even with all these steps, we cannot fully secure the border unless we take pressure off the border--and that requires a temporary worker program. We should establish a legal and orderly path for foreign workers to enter our country to work on a temporary basis. As a result, they won’t have to try to sneak in.
We will enforce our immigration laws at the work site, and give employers the tools to verify the legal status of their workers--so there is no excuse left for violating the law. We need to resolve the status of the illegal immigrants who are already in our country--without animosity and without amnesty.

Our economy could not function without the immigrants
We hear claims that immigrants are somehow bad for the economy, even though this economy could not function without them. All these are forms of economic retreat, and they lead in the same direction, toward a stagnant and second-rate economy.

It’s time to permit temporary guest workers
America’s immigration system is outdated, unsuited to the needs of our economy and to the values of our country. We should not be content with laws that punish hardworking people and deny businesses willing workers and invite chaos at our border. It is time for an immigration policy that permits temporary guest workers to fill jobs Americans will not take, that rejects amnesty, that tells us who is entering and leaving our country, and that closes the border to drug dealers and terrorists.

New temporary worker program includes illegal aliens
President Bush, saying the nation has failed millions of illegal immigrants who live in fear of deportation, yesterday proposed an ambitious plan that would allow undocumented workers to legally hold jobs in the US for the first time. The program that would bestow temporary legal status for at least 6 years on 8 million undocumented immigrants, as long as they keep their jobs. But it would not automatically put them on a path to obtaining citizenship or even permanent resident status.
“We must make our immigration laws more rational, and more humane,” Bush told 200 Latino supporters attending his first White House announcement of the election year. “I believe we can do so without jeopardizing the livelihoods of American citizens.” What Bush calls his “temporary worker” program was eagerly embraced by business groups but condemned as stingy and impractical by advocates for immigrants. Many said it has little chance of passing Congress in the form Bush described.

Mexico: immigration reform in exchange for oil development
Bush envisioned a Mexican border open to labor, to trade, and open to investment-especially investment in energy. Mexico had banned foreign investment in its energy industry in 1938, and ever since, Mexican oil production has been controlled by the creaky, corrupt, and polluting state monopoly, Pemex. If Mexico opened itself to the exploration and development of its oil resources by American entrepreneurs & technology, Mexican oil might possibly displace Arab oil from the US market altogether.
For this energy “quid,” Mexico would of course demand some equally valuable “quo”-and in Bush’s mind that “quo” was immigration reform. Bush believed that immigration was valuable to the US and praised it again and again in public speeches and his private conversations.
So the Bush administration designed a system for regularizing the Mexican-US labor relationship-not an amnesty like that of 1986, but a grander system for enabling Mexicans to work in the US temporarily and then to go home again.

Welcome Latinos; immigration is not a problem to be solved
Latinos come to the US to seek the same dreams that have inspired millions of others: they want a better life for their children. Family values do not stop at the Rio Grande. Latinos enrich our country with faith in God, a strong ethic of work, community & responsibility. We can all learn from the strength, solidarity, & values of Latinos. Immigration is not a problem to be solved, it is the sign of a successful nation. New Americans are to be welcomed as neighbors and not to be feared as strangers.

Make INS more “immigrant friendly”
Bush [would] divide the INS into two agencies: one to deal with the enforcement components of border protection and interior enforcement, and another to deal with the service components of naturalization. Bush will change the INS policy so that spouses & minor children of permanent residents can apply for visitor visas while their immigration applications are pending. He will reverse the presumption that such family members will violate their terms of admission, and will encourage family reunification.

More border guards to compassionately turn away Mexicans
We must do a better job of stopping those who seek to come into our country illegally. I support strict border enforcement programs such as Operation Hold the Line, which concentrate border patrol officers and resources at known border-crossing points. I believe it is far more compassionate to turn away people at the border than to attempt to find and arrest them once they are living in our country illegally.

Corporate America Encourages and Sustains Illegal Immigration
Article by Marty Lich and Frosty Wooldridge
December 31, 2003
Published on MichNews.com.
It is time for Corporate America to learn the three R’s. They mean: Responsibility, Respect and Repercussions.
Putting into practice the word 'Responsibility' carries the burden of accountable behavior as well as shouldering the blame when a mistake or crime has been discovered. Our US corporations must be responsible and verify their employees’ legal status. Ultimately this is their responsibility whether or not they utilize subcontractors in the course of their business operations.
Wal-Mart is a case in point. Their executives claimed they had “no idea” when confronted with the arrest of their illegal alien employees. Best known for her humor, Irma Bombeck’s children also made the same claim. She demanded, "Who ate all the cookies in the cookie jar?" Each replied, “I Dunno, mom.” Maybe an anonymous guest was responsible. Maybe the dog ate the cookies. Or, the guppy! It is time to grow up children and face the music. Claimed ignorance is not a defense in the face of the law. It makes an interesting argument for corporate America to claim ignorance when 10 million illegal aliens are supported in our country by corporations giving them jobs--while claiming, "I didn't know they were illegal aliens."
Respect for American law is crucial. Without respect for our laws, America will cease as the model of free enterprise we represent to the rest of the world. We function because of the rule of the law. These corporations enjoy their success because of our laws.
Other nations have their mandates. Mexico enforces laws that prevent Americans from involvement because it is illegal to be involved in their affairs. One is the right to own property in Mexico. American citizens do not have legal authorization from the Mexican Government to purchase property there. Mexico has laws that are respected and the United States has her laws that must be upheld here.
There are serious repercussions in America for employers that disobey U.S. law. Specific punishments under Immigration Law, Section 274 felonies under the federal Immigration and Nationality Act, INA 274A(a)(1)(A):
In Wal-Mart’s case, three areas of this violation apply to them. The I-9 employment eligibility form was not completed. It is Wal-Mart’s responsibility to verify this documentation. It is unlawful to hire an individual for employment in the United States without complying with employment eligibility verification requirements. This is not ‘new’ news to Walmart. This corporation was aware of its subcontractor’s previous violations twice before in 1998 and 2001. Federal agents rounded up 102 illegal immigrant janitors working for Wal-Mart. Under Section 274, it is a felony to have an employer acting with reckless disregard for the legal consequences of permitting a third party to provide or introduce an illegal alien into the employer's work force. Does the "Three Strikes--You're Out" policy apply to violating employers in America? It should!
These laws are specific and written under ‘hiring felonies’ and we must demand the full legal consequences for these American corporations. Place the burden of responsibility back where it belongs. It belongs on corporate America that violates our American immigration laws by hiring and exploiting their illegal alien employees.
There are no excuses for Wal-Mart, Hormel in Austin, Minnesota, Tyson Chicken in Iowa, Quality Pork Products in Austin, Minnesota, beef processing plants in Greeley, Colorado, fast food outlets such as McDonald’s, Wendy’s and Taco Bells across America, paving companies in Texas and construction companies who employ illegal aliens in most major cities. Hundreds of corporations violate the law in California with over three million illegal aliens living in that state. They steal jobs from American citizens.
There were no excuses for not doing your homework or cheating on exams accepted when we attended school. "I Dunno" is not an admissible excuse in a court of law any more than Erma Bombeck accepted it as an excuse from her children.
The reason Mexico, like dozens of other Third World countries, suffers horrific corruption, chaos and misery for its citizens stems from a loss of the rule of law. Without respect and responsibility, those nations and their citizens suffer unending agony at the hands of corporate elite.
Because corporate America continues importing and hiring illegal aliens, repercussions explode across our country. Here in America, we are on the front bow of the Titanic of a crisis that grows worse by the day for American citizens. Our classrooms are overrun by dozens of foreign languages that keep our children from learning their three R's. Terrorists can walk over our border with Mexico without fear of being caught. Tom Ridge’s red alerts are a national joke. How long can we remain a viable nation with this gross loss of the rule of law?
CEO's better stop looking at their profit margin and begin looking ahead to what kind of a country they want for their children. Is chaos, disease, lawlessness and growing disorder what each of you is intending? For what? More money? What good will money be when your country turns to mud? When your society sinks into an intractable quagmire? You corporation CEO's must address your responsibilities, respect and adherence to your country’s laws. It’s your country, too, for God sakes!
We cannot and will not remain a viable nation without the rule of law. Corporations must return to the three R's. Otherwise, at some point in time, America will sink into the chaos, corruption and wretchedness of nations like Mexico. When it manifests itself like the empty cookie jar for all Americans who don’t have jobs, health care or decent schooling for their kids, there is not one single corporate CEO who hired illegal aliens who can say, "I didn't know."

Frosty Wooldridge is a teacher and author who has bicycled 100,000 miles on six continents to see overpopulation up close and ugly. His latest book is: ‘STRIKE THREE! TAKE YOUR BASE’. It shows a path for teens gasping for emotional stability after personal loss.

HERE’S OBAMA’S JOBS PROGRAM (FOR CHEAP LABOR ILLEGALS)

Labor Secretary Hilda Solis, a former California congresswoman with close ties to the influential La Raza movement, announced the “We Can Help” project with great fanfare a few days ago.”

Labor Dept. Helps Illegal Alien Workers
Last Updated: Tue, 04/06/2010 - 11:04am
The Department of Labor has launched a special program to assist and protect illegal immigrant workers in the U.S., referred to as “vulnerable” and “underpaid” by the presidential cabinet member who heads the agency.
Hundreds of new field investigators have been deployed to reach out to Latino laborers in areas with large numbers of illegal alien employees. Their message, in Spanish, is “we can help” bring workplace protections to the nation’s most vulnerable and underpaid workers, including those who have no legal right to live in the Untied States.

(THE OBAMA PLAN TO PUT ILLEGALS INTO OUR JOBS AND VOTING BOOTHS!)

Labor Secretary Hilda Solis, a former California congresswoman with close ties to the influential La Raza movement, announced the “We Can Help” project with great fanfare a few days ago. A total of 1,000 investigators from her agency will focus on enforcing labor and wage laws in industries that typically hire lots of illegal aliens without reporting anyone to federal immigration authorities.

(WHO WORKS FOR THE RIGHTFUL JOBS OF AMERICAN CITIZENS? WHO ENFORCES THE LAWS THAT PROHIBIT THE EMPLOYMENT OF ILLEGALS, EVEN IF THEY HAVE A STOLEN SOCIAL SECURITY NUMBER? NOT THE LA RAZA DEMS, OR HISPANDERING BARACK OBAMA!)
Solis told Latino workers that “your president, your secretary of labor and this department will not allow anyone to be denied his or her rightful pay, especially when so many in our nation are working long, hard and often dangerous hours.” She assured illegal immigrants that “if you work in this country, you are protected by our laws.”
The same day Solis publicly announced the Obama Administration’s new project, a Labor Department investigator visited a day laborer center in northern California to promote it. The federal employee actually chatted warmly with the illegal immigrants about how to find jobs without being exploited, according to a local newspaper report. “We’re the feds but the good ones,” he told the day laborers in Spanish. “We’re here to help workers.”
The agency has also launched a Spanish television advertising campaign to spread the word and created a web site. Workers in industries from construction to food service are urged to contact the Labor Department of wage and hour violations. An investigator may be deployed to the work site or the employer may be taken to court.

The U.S. Department of Illegal Alien Labor

President Obama's Labor Secretary Hilda Solis is supposed to represent American workers. What you need to know is that this longtime open–borders sympathizer has always had a rather radical definition of "American." At a Latino voter registration project conference in Los Angeles many years ago, Solis asserted to thunderous applause, "We are all Americans, whether you are legalized or not."
That's right. The woman in charge of enforcing our employment laws doesn't give a hoot about our immigration laws –– or about the fundamental distinction between those who followed the rules in pursuit of the American dream and those who didn't.
While in Congress, she opposed strengthening the border fence, supported expansion of illegal alien benefits (including driver's licenses and in–state tuition discounts), embraced sanctuary cities that refused to cooperate with federal homeland security officials to enforce immigration laws, and aggressively championed a mass amnesty. Solis was steeped in the pro–illegal alien worker organizing movement in Southern California and was buoyed by amnesty–supporting Big Labor groups led by the Service Employees International Union. She has now caused a Capitol Hill firestorm over her new taxpayer–funded advertising and outreach campaign to illegal aliens regarding fair wages:
"I'm here to tell you that your president, your secretary of labor and this department will not allow anyone to be denied his or her rightful pay –– especially when so many in our nation are working long, hard and often dangerous hours," Solis says in the video pitch. "We can help, and we will help. If you work in this country, you are protected by our laws. And you can count on the U.S. Department of Labor to see to it that those protections work for you."
To be sure, no one should be scammed out of "fair wages." Employers that hire and exploit illegal immigrant workers deserve full sanctions and punishment. But it's the timing, tone–deafness and underlying blanket amnesty agenda of Solis' illegal alien outreach that has so many American workers and their representatives on Capitol Hill rightly upset.

With double–digit unemployment and a growing nationwide revolt over Washington's border security failures, why has Solis chosen now to hire 250 new government field investigators to bolster her illegal alien workers' rights campaign? (Hint: Leftists unhappy with Obama's lack of progress on "comprehensive immigration reform" need appeasing. This is a quick bone to distract them.)
Unfortunately, the federal government is not alone in lavishing attention and resources on workers who shouldn't be here in the first place. As of 2008, California, Florida, Nevada, New York, Texas and Utah all expressly included illegal aliens in their state workers' compensation plans –– and more than a dozen other states implicitly cover them.
Solis' public service announcement comes on the heels of little–noticed but far more troubling comments encouraging illegal alien workers in the Gulf Coast. Earlier this month, in the aftermath of the BP oil spill, according to Spanish language publication El Diario La Prensa, Solis signaled that her department was going out of its way to shield illegal immigrant laborers involved in cleanup efforts. "My purpose is to assist the workers with respect to safety and protection," she said. "We're protecting all workers regardless of migration status because that's the federal law." She told reporters that her department was in talks with local Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) officials who had visited coastal worksites to try to verify that workers were legal.
No word yet on whether she gave ICE her "we are all Americans, whether you are legalized or not" lecture. But it's a safe bet.

The Administration's Phantom Immigration Enforcement Policy
According to DHS’s own reports, very little of our nation’s borders (Southwestern or otherwise) are secure, and gaining control is not even a goal of the department.
By Ira Mehlman
Published on 12/07/2009

The setting was not quite the flight deck of the U.S.S. Abraham Lincoln with a “Mission Accomplished” banner as the backdrop, but it was the next best thing. Speaking at the Center for American Progress (CAP) on Nov. 13, Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano declared victory over illegal immigration and announced that the Obama administration is ready to move forward with a mass amnesty for the millions of illegal aliens already living in the United States.
Arguing the Obama administration’s case for amnesty, Napolitano laid out what she described as the “three-legged stool” for immigration reform. As the administration views it, immigration reform must include “a commitment to serious and effective enforcement, improved legal flows for families and workers, and a firm but fair way to deal with those who are already here.”
According to DHS’s own reports, very little of our nation’s borders (Southwestern or otherwise) are secure, and gaining control is not even a goal of the department. DHS claims to have “effective control” over just 894 miles of border. That’s 894 out of 8,607 miles they are charged with protecting. As for the other 7,713 miles? DHS’s stated border security goal for FY 2010 is the same 894 miles.
The administration’s strategic approach to interior and worksite enforcement is just as chimerical as its strategy at the border, unless one considers shuffling paper to be a strategy. DHS data, released November 18, show that administrative arrests of immigration law violators fell by 68 percent between 2008 and 2009. The department also carried out 60 percent fewer arrests for criminal violations of immigration laws, 58 percent fewer criminal indictments, and won 63 percent fewer convictions.
While the official unemployment rate has climbed from 7.6 percent when President Obama took office in January to 10 percent today, the administration’s worksite enforcement strategy has amounted to a bureaucratic game of musical chairs. The administration has all but ended worksite enforcement actions and replaced them with paperwork audits. When the audits determine that illegal aliens are on the payroll, employers are given the opportunity to fire them with little or no adverse consequence to the company, while no action is taken to remove the illegal workers from the country. The illegal workers simply acquire a new set of fraudulent documents and move on to the next employer seeking workers willing to accept substandard wages.
In Janet Napolitano’s alternative reality a mere 10 percent of our borders under “effective control” and sharp declines in arrests and prosecutions of immigration lawbreakers may be construed as confidence builders, but it is hard to imagine that the American public is going to see it that way. If anything, the administration’s record has left the public less confident that promises of future immigration enforcement would be worth the government paper they’re printed on.
As Americans scrutinize the administration’s plans to overhaul immigration policy, they are likely to find little in the “three-legged stool” being offered that they like or trust. The first leg – enforcement – the administration has all but sawed off. The second – increased admissions of extended family members and workers – makes little sense with some 25 million Americans either unemployed or relegated to part-time work. And the third – amnesty for millions of illegal aliens – is anathema to their sense of justice and fair play.
As Americans well know, declaring “Mission Accomplished” and actually accomplishing a mission are two completely different things. When it comes to enforcing immigration laws, the only message the public is receiving from this administration is “Mission Aborted.”

The Endless Amnesty Devices of a Hispandering President

WHAT IS AMERICAN’S REAL DREAM ACT?
YESTERDAY OBAMA BEMOANED THAT HE WAS UNABLE TO HAND HIS ILLEGAL VOTERS REDUCED EDUCATION FEES, AND A LA RAZA “THE RACE” PATHWAY TO MORE OF THE AMERICAN DREAM… even as they refuse to speak English and rant and rave what we owe their Mexican flag. Indeed, the fastest growing party in America is THE MEXICAN FASCIST PARTY of LA RAZA, whose motto is “For the Race everything, and for others nothing!” VIVA LA RECONQUISTA.

However Obama’s LA RAZA DREAM ACT was a mere formality. He, and his corrupt La Raza infested administration will continue to widen the borders for an ever depressed wage here. He will continue to push homeland security into HOMELAND SECURITY = PATHWAY TO CITIZENSHIP. He will continue to neuter I.C.E., as all his La Raza Dems, such as Boxer, Reid, Pelosi, and war profiteer – donor Dianne Feinstein have demanded. He will keep promising illegals more devices for amnesty will be perpetrated on the American people (legals), and E-Verify will be sabotaged. Obama has only to remind illegals what he has done to the American people on the behalf of the occupiers in Arizona!

THERE ARE ONLY EIGHT (8) STATE WITH A POPULATION GREATER THAN LOS ANGELES COUNTY, WHERE HALF OR MORE OF THE POPULATION ARE ILLEGALS USING STOLEN SOCIAL SECURITY NUMBERS. THE SAME COUNTY PAYS OUT $600 MILLION A YEAR IN WELFARE TO ILLEGALS, WHILE THE STATE ITSELF PAYS OUT $20 BILLION A YEAR IN SOCIAL SERVICES TO ILLEGALS! Anything to keep those wages depressed!
WHEN OBAMA SAID “CHANGE”, what he mean was the accelerated version of transferring what was left of the Bush economy to the rich, that hadn’t been surrendered to them under Bush, Hillary, Billlary, Bush, and their war profiteer, and Obama donor, Dianne Feinstein!
WE CAN’T FIX OUR NATION UNTIL WE END TAKE DOWN THE MEXICAN FLAG, AND RID OURSELVES OF LA RAZA MEX SUPREMACY!

Christmas in America
24 December 2010
Christmas in America this year reveals two starkly different social realities.
Three years since the onset of the recession in December 2007, the majority of the US population is facing staggering levels of unemployment, home foreclosures, hunger and poverty. For millions of working-class families, buying gifts this year required scraping together scarce dollars, borrowing from friends and relatives or adding more debt to their already overloaded credit cards.
At the other pole of society, America’s ruling elite, which has presided over this economic catastrophe, is celebrating its good fortune. The recent deal by President Obama and the Congressional Republicans to extend tax cuts to the richest two percent of the population tops off a year of record corporate profits and an 85 percent surge on the S&P 500 stock index.
2010 is expected to be the second most profitable year for Wall Street investment firms on record. The biggest five banks—JPMorgan Chase, Bank of America, Morgan Stanley, Goldman Sachs and Citigroup—have put aside at least $90 billion for year-end bonuses that could top last year’s payouts.
While some of the bailed-out banks cancelled their annual Christmas parties, hoping to avoid unpleasant publicity, private equity firm Blackstone Group rented out New York’s entire Metropolitan Museum of Art to throw a lavish holiday bash for its buyout specialists and traders.
Meanwhile, economists anticipate little hiring and expect unemployment to remain at nine percent or above throughout 2011 and beyond.
A recent poll by the Pew Research Center found that more than half of the US labor force (55 percent) has “suffered a spell of unemployment, a cut in pay, a reduction in hours or have become involuntary part-time workers” since the recession began.
Nearly a third of all working families—comprising some 45 million people—are categorized as low-income, making less than twice the official poverty rate. Millions of low-paid workers who had risen out of poverty earlier in the decade have now fallen back into the abyss.
A new study by the US Conference of Mayors on hunger and homelessness in 27 major cities found a staggering 24 percent jump in the demand for food assistance in 2009, with unemployment cited as the number one factor driving people to seek emergency aid. The number of homeless families rose by 9 percent, and two thirds of the cities reported that shelters were so overcrowded that they had to turn people away. The National Coalition for the Homeless reports there were at least 2,600 deaths in 2009 among people living on the streets.
Poverty rose across the US but most sharply in the Southwest and South and across depressed industrial states like Michigan and Ohio. The most severe increase was in Maricopa County, Arizona (Phoenix, Glendale, Scottsdale), where 135,000 more residents were added to the poverty rolls between 2006 and 2009. Second was Wayne County, Michigan (Detroit and Dearborn), where poverty rose by a staggering 19.7 percent and claimed 458,811 victims in 2009.
The US Census found that Michigan was the only state in the US to have a net loss in population over the last decade, while the US population grew by 10 percent overall. The mass exodus of workers and college graduates from Michigan points to a historic change in American society.
During the first half of the 20th century, Michigan’s population exploded as Southern and Appalachian migrants, along with European and Middle Eastern immigrants, flooded into the state’s auto factories. Between 1900 and 1950, Detroit’s population grew six-fold, reaching nearly two million.
The next half-century, however, saw the Motor City’s population fall by half to 951,000 in 2009. During the last decade the state, which lost more than 600,000 jobs, has seen a reverse migration as workers and young people who could afford it fled to other states. They left behind conditions of destitution and social decay, which are even worse than those that led their forefathers to come to Michigan in the 1920s and 1930s.
The rise and fall of Michigan parallels the rise and fall of American capitalism, from the unchallenged industrial power in the world—accounting for 50 percent of the world’s GDP in 1950—to a society in deep decline, with dismantled and rusting industries, a broken infrastructure and millions unable to meet their basic needs.
The corporate and political establishment responded to the economic decline of the US and the rise of powerful international competitors in the 1970s and 1980s by systematically dismantling industries it deemed unprofitable and unleashing a class war against the living standards and social position of the working class that continues to this day.
The deindustrialization of America coincided with the rise of a powerful financial aristocracy whose accumulation of wealth has less and less to do with production and far more with financial swindling and speculation. After this led to the bursting of the subprime mortgage bubble and the 2008 financial crash—and the worst economic crisis since the Great Depression—the super-rich were handed the keys to the US Treasury to cover their gambling losses.
Now the Obama administration and both big business parties insist that all forms of social spending, from Medicare and Social Security, to the public schools and city services, must be slashed to the bone to pay for the burgeoning budget deficits. This only underscores the fact that the financial elite controls the entire political system and the working class is deprived of any means to defend itself through the existing political setup.
Everywhere throughout the world the refrain is the same: the working class must accept austerity in order to pay for the bailout of the rich. This is the demand of every political party and trade union that defends the capitalist system.
The class struggle is escalating internationally, from mass strikes and student protests in Greece, Spain, Italy and Britain, to the growing militancy of workers in China, Bangladesh and throughout Asia. In the coming year, as the demands for wage cuts and the gutting of social benefits is escalated in the US, the American working class will also enter into mass battles.
These struggles will pit workers directly against the Obama administration and the Democratic Party, which has demonstrated that it defends the wealthy elite no less ruthlessly than the Republicans.
The working class needs to forge its own mass political party to advance its own interests and to secure its basic social rights to good-paying jobs, health care, education and housing. This means a struggle to put an end to capitalism, a system that benefits the rich at the expense of the masses of working people, and replace it with socialism.
The Socialist Equality Party urges workers to read our program and make the decision to join the SEP.

Acknowledging that a lack of confidence in the government’s ability and commitment to effectively enforce the immigration laws it passes proved to be the Waterloo of previous efforts to gain amnesty for illegal aliens, Napolitano was quick to reassure the American public that those concerns could be put to rest.
“For starters, the security of the Southwest border has been transformed from where it was in 2007,” stated the secretary. Not only is the border locked up tight, she continued, but the situation is well in-hand in the interior of the country as well. “We’ve also shown that the government is serious and strategic in its approach to enforcement by making changes in how we enforce the law in the interior of the country and at worksites…Furthermore, we’ve transformed worksite enforcement to truly address the demand side of illegal immigration.”
If Rep. Joe Wilson had been in attendance to hear Secretary Napolitano’s CAP speech he might well have had a few choice comments to offer. But since he wasn’t, we will have to rely on the Department of Homeland Security’s own data to assess the veracity of Napolitano’s claims.
