So, help me understand this. The Director of the FBI long ago informed us that Mexican gangs had spread all over the country. The Christian Science Monitor characterizes Los Angeles as “Mexican gang capital of American. Mexican gangs have spread all over the country, and operate in virtually all cities.
CNN report that there are 800,000 gang members in the U.S. Therefore 1,200 isn’t a drop in the bucket! It’s only a publicity stunt, because last week hispandering Obama cut the border guard by 400 guards.
Who do they think they’re kidding? Not La Raza, the virulently racist political party of Mexican supremacy.
How many Saudi terrorist also climb over our borders like the Saudis that invaded us 9-11?
The La Raza dems will also sell us out, just like they did for the banksters! Like La Raza donors Wells Fargo and Bank of America.

And there are some 800,000 gang members in this country: That’s more than the combined number of troops in our Army and Marine Corps. These gangs have become one of the principle ways to import and distribute drugs in the United States. Congressman David Reichert joins Lou to tell us why those gangs are growing larger and stronger, and why he’s introduced legislation to eliminate the top three international drug gangs.

The Obama administration could be weakening a successful joint federal and local program aimed at keeping illegal immigrants off our streets. "287 G" gives local police the training and authority to enforce federal immigration law. Supporters of the program believe the administration wants to limit the program to criminal illegal immigrants already in
custody -- limiting the investigative authority of police.

Probe of Mexican drug cartel leads to nearly 1,200 arrests in U.S.
Authorities say recent raids have targeted La Familia Michoacana's fast-growing operations in California, Texas and other states.

Reporting from Washington

In a series of recent raids throughout the United States, federal authorities have arrested nearly 1,200 people who they say are connected to one of Mexico's most aggressively expanding and deadly drug trafficking cartels, known as La Familia Michoacana, law enforcement officials told The Times' Washington bureau.

At least 300 of the arrests occurred today and Wednesday in California, Texas, Georgia and numerous other U.S. locations where the crime syndicate has set up bases to engage in drug trafficking, extortion and other crimes, authorities said.

The crackdown, dubbed "Project Coronado," was described by one knowledgeable source as the largest single strike in the United States against the Mexican cartels, based on a multi-agency investigation that lasted nearly 3 1/2 years. The source said authorities seized huge amounts of drug, money and evidence that can be used to go after more senior members of La Familia.

Although it is a relative newcomer to Mexico's drug underworld, La Familia has been one of the most violent and quick to attack Mexican troops and lawmakers who have tried to halt its expansion, U.S. counter-narcotics officials say. It also has been locked in a violent struggle with a group known as the Zetas, former allies who serve as the armed wing of a Gulf cartel.

La Familia has been linked to hundreds of drug-related killings in Mexico, including the kidnapping and torture and murders of 12 federal agents in the western state of Michoacan, La Familia's home base, in July.

The investigation involved hundreds of agents and analysts from the FBI, the Drug Enforcement Administration and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, as well as prosecutors and other officials from the Justice Department.

Atty. Gen. Eric H. Holder Jr. and the directors of the FBI, DEA and ATF are expected to announce the results of the effort at a news conference this morning. Representatives of all three agencies involved said they would have no comment in the meantime.

On Wednesday, federal and local authorities arrested 90 people in Dallas as part of a nationwide methamphetamine drug distribution bust tied to La Familia, authorities there said. Local news reports said authorities also seized massive amounts of methamphetamines and cocaine, as well as money and guns.

Dozens of others were arrested in and around Los Angeles and Atlanta, which has become a major hub for La Familia in recent years.

Authorities say they are trying to unravel not only La Familia's presence in the United States, but also the many independent drug distribution branches that it supplies with drugs.

WHITE HOUSE or CENTER FOR HISPANDERING?

White House Uses Federal Funds to Steer Volunteers to Pro-Amnesty Groups

As President Obama teamed up last week with former President George H.W. Bush to encourage Americans to perform more community service (Associated Press, October 16, 2009), FAIR’s staff has discovered that a search for “immigration” volunteer opportunities on the administration’s Serve.gov website – which describes itself as “your online resource for not only finding volunteer opportunities in your community, but also creating your own” (About Serve.gov) – has a distinct bias in favor of organizations that support amnesty.

At the Serve.gov website home page, users are prompted to “Find a Volunteer Opportunity” by entering one or more “Keywords” into a search box under the heading “What interests you?” (Serve.gov). Entering “immigration” into the search box takes the visitor to a page outside of the Serve.gov server (All for Good), where the number one result for a search conducted in Washington, D.C. is the “Trinity Amnesty Center” – an organization based just outside President Obama’s home town of Chicago. Clicking on the link for the Trinity Amnesty Center takes the visitor back to the Serve.gov website, where they discover that the Center is seeking volunteers to help “people with immigration problems.” (Serve.gov: Opportunity Sign Up – Trinity Amnesty Center). Another organization that comes up as part of the search results on Serve.gov is CASA de Maryland. According to media reports, CASA de Maryland has lobbied extensively to ensure that illegal aliens would be able to obtain driver’s licenses in Maryland and also worked to help illegal aliens find jobs. (New York Times, December 30, 2005).

Amendment to Require Citizenship and Immigration Questions as Part of Census on Hold in Senate
When the Senate began debate on the annual 2010 funding for the departments of Commerce, Justice and certain science programs on October 7, 2009, Senators David Vitter (R-LA) and Robert Bennett (R-Utah) filed an amendment to the “CJS” bill that would have required the Census Bureau, which is part of the Department of Commerce, to include on the census forms questions related to citizenship and immigration status. (See H.R. 2847 and S. Amdt. 2644).

The Vitter-Bennett amendment said: “none of the funds provided in this Act… may be used for collection of census data that does not include questions regarding United States citizenship and immigration status.” (S. Amdt. 2644). During debate on his amendment, Senate Vitter stated that: “the way the census is designed, the House would be reapportioned counting illegal aliens. States that have large populations of illegals would be rewarded for that. Other States, including my home State of Louisiana, would be penalized.” Senator Bennett stated that in “Reynolds v. Symms… the Supreme Court gave us the one man, one vote rule, which said that the districts should be close enough in population that, in effect, every voter had the same weight of representation in the House of Representatives.” Bennett also pointed out that counting illegal aliens in the Senate would “chang[e] the one man, one vote [principle] of the Supreme Court [so that] a State with a large number of illegal immigrants will see to it that its voters have greater representation than voters where the illegal immigrants are not.” In other words, as currently structured, the Census will include illegal aliens as will the Congressional reapportionment that follows. As a result, certain states will have more representation in Congress than they should, which will dilute the value of citizen’s votes in states which have less representation than they should.

On October 13, 2009, Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-NV) filed cloture on the “CJS” appropriations bill in an attempt to block a vote on the Vitter-Bennett amendment. This parliamentary maneuver, however, failed as the motion to invoke cloture received only 56 of the necessary 60 votes to pass. (To see how your Senators voted on the motion, see Roll Call Vote 320). Unable to use cloture to block the Vitter amendment, Senator Reid stopped consideration of the CJS bill and instead moved to other legislation. This prompted Senator Vitter to comment that Senator Reid was “going through somersaults right now to prevent there being a direct vote on this amendment because it would be very difficult for [some Democratic Senators] to vote against it.” (The Hill, October 15, 2009).

Couple charged with embezzling $1.3M from San Jose hardware store

A married couple are expected to be arraigned in Santa Clara County Superior Court on Thursday on charges that the wife embezzled $1.3 million from the hardware company where she worked and then laundered the money with her husband through their bank account.
Prosecutors have charged Desiree and Ruben Herrera with 14 counts of grand theft, money laundering and filing a false income tax return, according to Santa Clara County District Attorney's Office spokeswoman Amy Cornell.
They are in custody, and Cornell said she wouldn't know if they are being represented by an attorney until the arraignment.
According to the criminal complaint, Desiree Hererra, 36, was an accounts receivable clerk for County Building Materials, which goes by the name Payless Hardware and Rockery, on South King Road in San Jose.
The complaint states that from 2002 to 2009, Herrera embezzled more than $1.3 million from the company, and then she and Ruben Herrera, 37, "laundered" part of the stolen money through their bank account.
The state Franchise Tax Board also charges that the Herreras failed to report the income they earned on their tax forms from 2006 to 2008. The tax board estimates the Herreras owe more than $182,000 in unpaid taxes and penalties.
Reached today by phone, Payless Hardware and Rockery manager Harry Glaze credited the company's office manager, Karey Thatcher, for discovering what was going on. He said Thatcher was in the process of switching accounting systems when she asked Herrera to begin providing her numbers.
"And the numbers coming to her desk from Desiree were different than the numbers she had," Glaze said. "She put the two together and started going back further and further."
Glaze noted that the amount of money is huge to a small company like the one he runs. "I could have probably retired by now," he said half-jokingly.
He also described Herrera as a nice, friendly employee — someone he never would have suspected of such a crime.

Sheriff Joe Arpaio: I'm Not Going to Stop Arresting Illegals ("criminals once they cross the border

Sheriff Joe Arpaio: I'm Not Going to Stop Arresting Illegals

Arizona Sheriff Joe Arpaio tells Newsmax he has no intention of bowing to pressure from Washington to stop rounding up illegal aliens, because they are "criminals once they cross the border."

"I'm not going to stop. I'm just doing my job," said Arpaio, sheriff of Maricopa County — which includes the city of Phoenix.

The Department of Homeland Security has removed the authority of Arpaio's 160 federally trained deputies to make immigration arrests in the field.

See Video: Sheriff Joe Arpaio reveals his plans to keep rounding up illegal aliens – with or without the help of the Obama administration -

Newsmax.TV's Ashley Martella noted that Section 287-G of the Immigration and Nationality Act allows state and local law enforcement personnel to detain and arrest illegal aliens on civil and criminal grounds, but Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) has removed Arpaio's department from that program. Martella asked the sheriff why he has been singled out.

"Politics," Arpaio declared.

"We've arrested and detained over 33,000 illegal aliens, 25 percent of the whole country under that agreement. Evidently Washington doesn't like our success. Maybe we're too successful. So they wiped out my street enforcement authority under that agreement."

Homeland Security, and therefore ICE, is now headed by Janet Napolitano, former governor of Arizona. Citing allegations that Arpaio and Napolitano clashed when she was governor, Martella asked if there could be "some personal retribution involved here?"

"Not really, because I've worked with her for 17 years. I don't report to governors, I report to the people," said Arpaio.

"We did have a good relationship until the last year she was governor. She didn't like some ways I enforced the illegal immigration laws and took back about $1.6 million that the legislature gave me directly.

"She has her mission. She works for the president. She has to report to the White House, take orders from the White House. So let's share that situation with Obama too and not just blame her."

Asked if he intends to continue to round up illegal aliens despite the Obama administration's actions, Arpaio responded:

"The authority ran out midnight Thursday. Friday I went into another crime suppression operation. We did the same thing we were doing under that 287-G agreement. Nothing has changed. We arrested 66 people. Out of 66 were 30 illegal aliens that we arrested as suspected traffickers in humans. We also raided a carwash.

"We did call ICE, and out of the 30 they did accept the 19 that we [could not file] state charges against. If we had state charges, we'd book them into the jail...

"Now the big key is, will they continue to accept the illegal aliens when we don't have a state charge [but] know that they are illegal? Will they start turning them down? Then we've got a big problem — I have to put these guys back on the street.

"Now my other idea is, if they turn them down locally, I'll bring them to the Border Patrol. If they turn them down, because the Border Patrol comes under Napolitano also, then I've got a big problem. What will I do with them?"

Arpaio also told Newsmax: "We're going to try to get a trespassing law passed where we will be able to pick up these [illegals] under state law."

Arpaio said that since he began rounding up illegal aliens, "we've put 1,600 Class 4 felons in jail and they can't get out. And we do employer sanctions. We go into businesses. We've done 23 businesses and about two-thirds of the people employed have phony identification.

"If we come across those that are just here illegally — but they are criminals once they cross the border — what do you do with them? We work with ICE. We turn them over...

"Napolitano and the White House don't want us to arrest people here just because they're here. That they don't like. They use the theory we only go after the murderers, the violent criminals. They don't want to arrest those that are here illegally on the streets or in workplaces or anywhere else. That's a shame. They are criminals."

Attorney General Eric Holder's Justice Department is investigating the sheriff for possible racial profiling. Martella asked Arpaio if his department is in fact involved in profiling.

"No we are not. This is all politics," said the sheriff, who has been re-elected four times.

"Sixty days under the new administration, they launched an investigation with lawyers against me and my employees on alleged racial profiling, admitting that they read about it in the media. That was their evidence.

"Sixty days. I spent 25 years with the Justice Department, Drug Enforcement Administration, as a high law enforcement official. It takes them two years to open up a letter. Why did it take only 60 days? And after 100 days they bragged about [going] after me, so you can see this is all politics."

As for the Hispanic groups that have been protesting Arpaio's roundup of illegal aliens, he said: "They're out there every day. They'll be out there today with their big signs calling me Nazi, Hitler. They've been doing this for over a year in front of my building.

"But it doesn't bother me. It's First Amendment. Let them do whatever they want."

He added: "It's kind of nasty when you have little kids holding signs. You got these kids involved, going after me, and I happen to wear a uniform and am a law enforcement guy. So if you don't like me, don't use the kids and teach them that law enforcement are bad people. It's a shame how low they stoop to get me to stop doing my job."

Martella asked: "You're not about to do that, are you, sir?"

Arpaio answered: "No. You think I'm going to stop because someone from Washington doesn't like what I'm doing?"
